King Arthur’s Labyrinth
ByKing Arthur’s Labyrinth is an underground world full of magic and mystery and a great day out for the whole family. Located in Corris, Mid Wales on the main A487 between Machynlleth and Dolgellau.
Take an exciting boat journey through an underground river, travel through a large waterfall and enter in to an underground world of magical storytelling. Listen to stories about giants, dragons and battles all displayed with the most realistic sounds and stunning special effects.
The Bard’s Quest is another attraction not to be missed when you visit King Arthur’s Labyrinth. It is a maze of time, where you try to discover the forgotten legends hidden inside, under rocks, through trees, as well as listening to the mystical stories and clues as you walk around.
Corris Craft Centre is the first stop on your journey into King Arthur’s Labyrinth. There are 10 different craft workshops to visit and you are able to watch the craftspeople at work. Glassware, leatherwork, jewellery, pottery, hand-made cards, patchwork and quilting, wooden toys, rustic furniture, candles and hand turned wood are made in these workshops. Gifts, toys and souvenirs can also be bought from The Labyrinth shop.
At christmas time the Corris Centre craft shops offer a wide range of unique, hand made christmas presents. A festive shopping event not be missed.
The site has toilet facilities and a small play area for children. There is a picnic area in the gardens as well as a cafe for hot and cold food. The King’s Labyrinth underground tours are available from March to beginning of November, the craft shops open through to christmas.
