The water flows through a narrow ravine (see picture – right) underneath the bridges near the top of the mountain, before descending around 100 metres through a series of cascades to reach the Rheidol river at the valley floor.

Caldey Island lies just a few miles off the coast from Tenby. There are regular boats trips, taking the many tourists and locals to and from the island. Crossing time takes around 20 minutes and the last crossing back from the island is usually around or close to 16:30.
